NB: This can feel like a lot to take in and the assessment RUBRICs use a lot of vocabulary that may seem strange and foreign. I want to make sure that each of you have a solid understanding of what is required to achieve within each mark range (and what difference is between each range), so with that in mind, whenever I introduce a new Area of Study and Assessment Task we will be spending the good part of a lesson focused on interpreting the RUBRICs and understanding the Assessments. You will be expected to produce your own mini-RUBRIC by the end of it (in whatever format suits you), showing that you have a thorough understanding of what you need to do to achieve your desired result from each task. I will be checking these off in subsequent Teacher-Student meetings where you can raise any further questions or concerns that have come up following this lesson.
